We decided it was time to get out of the RV parks and into some nature. And did we hit it out of the park!
We’ve spent the last couple of days at the Strawberry Flat Campground in Muncho Lake Provincial Park, BC. We had read about it online, 15 campsites on the lake. And, boy, did they mean on the lake. We all pulled into the sites so our picture windshields faced the amazing green lake. Even Big Mama went for a walk in the woods. That's our RV on the left, peeking out of the trees. What a treat!
Our door was about 50 ft from the water. We sat out each night and listened to the waves lap the shore until we finally had to go in, just because it was 10:30 and the sun had not gone down. We’re still trying to get used to that.

Since we had time, we also visited the Liard River Hot Springs, about an hour away, for a soak in the hot, sulphur pools. It is similar to an amazing, huge jacuzzi. Sadly, the upper pool was closed, since that is where the bears like to bathe. And they need their privacy.
We all had a relaxing soak and left much refreshed. Behind us is the upper pool, no bears today though.
Sited on the way were stone sheep, bear and bison. This big fella decided he wanted us to move. Of course we obliged. He may not be bigger than the truck, but he was definitely more determined.
On to Watson Lake...
